Notification of Accreditation Review
 

The University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Nursing will be reviewed by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) for accreditation. This will be reaccreditation review for the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) programs and initial accreditation review for the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program that began educating students in the fall of 2009.

 

The CCNE on-site accreditation visit to the School of Nursing will be April 11-13, 2012. CCNE is an autonomous arm of the American Association of Colleges of Nursing and is recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education to accredit baccalaureate and graduate degree programs in nursing including DNP programs.
