For the 2007 SoNShine Day community project, the Angel Helpers volunteered at the Salvation Army.
Christmas is one of the Salvation Army's busiest times of the year. They help to provide gifts for the children and the elderly in the community that do not have a family that is able to do this for them.
Our group helped by entering the information into the computer database that will be written on the angels the Salvation Army puts on their “Angel Tree." While half of the group was entering the information, the other half was busy wrapping the gifts that had already been donated. Our group was able to finish wrapping all of the presents they had received thus far.
