Habitat for Humanity

Site: Habitat for Humanity, Jackson, MS

On November 6, a rainy Monday morning, our group helped build a house in downtown Jackson for the Moore family. We worked with Habitat for Humanity to build scaffolding, put windows in, and build the roof. We did a lot of climbing, lifting, carrying and hammering. When we headed home that afternoon, some of us were soaking wet, but the home was even closer to being complete.
