SON Raises Cans for Stewpot Community Services

The School of Nursing is currently collecting cans to benefit Stewpot Community Services Food Pantry, a food pantry that provides food for Jackson-area residents in need.

Items needed to help stock the pantry are:

  • canned meat (like SPAM)
  • canned soup,
  • ravioli,
  • spaghetti,
  • canned vegetables,
  • flour,
  • sugar,
  • cereal,
  • and rice

To participate in the SON's "Can-Raiser", drop off an item of canned food in Stewpot box by the Office of Student Affairs (located in the SON lobby). Donations will be accepted until October 9, 2009.
