RN to BSN- Frequently Asked Questions

Can I work while I am in school?

A majority of our students work full-time.

---------------------------------------------------------

Do I have to take a full load each semester?

No. You may take a part-time load, but courses are only offered one time per year.

----------------------------------------------------------

Are any scholarship monies available?

Yes, but generally RNs who are working do not meet the income criteria to qualify for a loan.

----------------------------------------------------------

Are there a lot of papers to write?

Yes. All must be done in APA style, so it is very important that you become familiar with this or find a typist who is well-versed in the form.

----------------------------------------------------------

Will I need to spend much on-campus library time?

The Rowland Library is very up-to-date and provides the students with a multiplicity of resources to use in meeting class objectives. It would be to your advantage to plan for some library time.

How do I communicate with instructors?
