Behavioral Nursing

N310 -4 Hours
A didactic and clinical course that focuses on the nursing care of clients with acute, chronic and complex mental health problems across the life span. Current trends, ethical and legal issues, political, economic and social issues that influence the health care of mental health clients and families are examined. Clinical practice is provided in a variety of settings including acute and community facilities.
Pre-requisite: N460. Pre or Co-requisites: N435 (Theory/Clinical) (4 semester hours).
