A didactic and clinical course designed to facilitate integration of theoretical concepts into nursing care of clients with complex health care needs. Through precepted clinical experiences, students have the opportunity to actively participate as a member of the health care team. Emphasis is on competency in clinical skills, critical thinking, problem solving, time management, professional values, and current issues effecting the nursing profession. Pre-requisites: N460, N426, N427, N439. (Theory/Clinical) (4 semester hours).
