The theory course focuses on empowering the learner with knowledge and skills to effect change in health policy to improve health care delivery. Emphasis is placed on analyzing health care policy issues of concern to nursing and on strategies for becoming involved in the political and policy-making processes. Prerequisites: N304, Pre or Co-requisite: N428 (Theory) (2 semester hours).
