Hi! I'm Robin Wilkerson. I am proud to serve you as your alumni president for the next two years. Our School of Nursing is involved in many exciting activities related to excellence in teaching, practice, and research and I am pleased to be a part of it.

We need everyone’s help so that the SON will continue to grow and excel. I encourage your active involvement in our Nursing Alumni Chapter. There are several ways you can be involved. Please consider contributing to our Nursing Alumni Chapter funds and/or joining the Nursing Guardian Society. You also may help by donating your time as a volunteer on one of our committees. Last and perhaps most important, you can help us to recruit the brightest students to our nursing programs by serving as a role model to others and by educating others on the excellence of our nursing programs.

The faculty at the SON contributes greatly to the success of our students as future leaders of our profession. School of Nursing alumni, faculty and staff were saddened by the death of longtime faculty member, Peggy McWilliams. Many of us were influenced by Peggy’s teachings during our education at the SON. A fund is being established within the Nursing Alumni Chapter to honor the memory of Peggy McWilliams. Please join me in honoring Peggy’s contributions to the nursing profession by donating to this fund. Contributions may be sent to the Nursing Alumni Chapter.
