Faculty Positions

The University of Mississippi School of Nursing at the University of Mississippi Medical Center invites applications for tenure track faculty positions in areas such as community health, adult health, acute care, maternal-child, and mental/behavioral health. The School of Nursing offers BSN, Accelerated Second Degree (BSN), RN to BSN, Dual Option (RN-BSN-MSN), MSN (four tracks, Nurse Practitioner (FNP, ACNP, NNP and PMHNP), Nurse Educator, and Health Systems Executive, post-MSN Nurse Practitioner and Nurse Educator, and a doctoral program. Responsibilities include undergraduate and graduate classroom and clinical teaching, community and organizational service, faculty practice, research and scholarship.

Qualifications

Doctorate in nursing or related field; master’s in nursing or nurse practitioner certification, one year of clinical experience with current clinical competence, eligibility for MS RN license.
