2009-10 Student Handbook
The Student Handbook (.pdf) is a source of information on the School of Nursing related to policies, procedures, available resources, and issues that are of concern to the student academic life. It acts as a companion to The University of Mississippi Medical Center Bulletin.
About the Handbook
TheStudent Handbook is reviewed annually and an electronic copy is available to all students via the School of Nursing website. Students are responsible for using the Student Handbook as a resource when questions arise and as a guide to academic/nonacademic policies/procedures.
Student Responsibility
Each student must sign a Student Handbook Receipt Verification form that is located in the back of the student handbook and the program offices. This form verifies that the student has read and understands the policies, and it is kept in the student's academic record file in the Office of Academic Program Development and Evaluation.
These policies and procedures are subject to change during the academic year. Graduate students should refer to the information presented in this handbook, as well as A Guide for Graduate Students and the Bulletin . The Office of Student Affairs will distribute changes.
