The Media Center is located on the basement floor of the School of Nursing.  In this environment, students can pursue their independent and group studies, faculty can administer special on-line testing sessions, and small local meetings can be held using the accessible media carts.  There are an assortment of reference materials readily available in various mixed media forms.

There are four primary environments within the SON Media Center:

DVD VIEWING STATIONS

There are three DVD viewing stations presently available for use with available DVD format reference media.

COMPUTER RESOURCE CENTER

There are 18 internet accessable computer workstations available for independent research installed with Microsoft Office Suite products: Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Publisher.

EXTENDED LEARNING CLASSROOMS

There are two extended learning classroms available for small groups to use.  Each has a media cart with an LCD projector and VCR.

MEDIA REFERENCE LIBRARY

A wide selection of study and reference materials are available for use in the SON media reference library.  Available formats include: DVD, VHS, analog cassette, CD, and books.
