SON Alumna Janet Harris recently awarded the Janet Y. Harris Scholarship in Nursing. Harris, who is Chief Nursing Executive Officer at UMHC, recently awarded the first scholarships to Estelle Watts and Brandy Houlk.

The scholarship is awarded to a graduate student who demonstrates the potential to make significant contributions in an administrative role to the advancement of nursing and health care.
