
Generic
undergraduate students who successfully complete the academic requirements
for graduation from the University of Mississippi Medical Center School
of Nursing are assisted in the application process for licensure as a
Registered Nurse by the Mississippi
Board of Nursing. Section 73-15-19 of the Mississippi Code of 1972
(Revised July 1, 1983) describes the qualifications for Registered Nurse
applicants. The 2003 NCLEX pass rate for UMC School of Nursing graduates
was 95%.
